EnCann is pleased to announce it has ordered all primary extraction and packaging equipment for its first location in Kelowna, BC.
In preparation for licensing, EnCann Solutions has ordered 3 custom designed ethanol extraction units, each capable of processing 300kg/hr, as well as custom built clean rooms and a cannabis flower packaging line. This is an exciting step towards licensing, which EnCann anticipates matching with the emergence of the concentrates, vapes, topicals and edibles markets.
EnCann’s extraction systems will be a game changer in the industry, due to their ability to operate at room-temperature without co-extracting any chlorophylls, fats, waxes or other undesirables, reducing the need for post processing and reducing the overall energy footprint of the facility.
Packaging services will include Health Canada compliant bagging of 3.5g, 7g and 14g cannabis flower units with nitrogen purge, labeling and excise stamp application. Utilizing the top of the line Ishida weigher head and a custom-built packaging line, EnCann will be able to quickly and accurately package flower for both Standard and Micro Cultivators.
Starting with 16,500sq. ft of space, with an expansion option up to 48,000 sq.ft within the year, this state-of-the-art facility will be the center of EnCann’s services in Western Canada. EnCann will provide toll extraction, white labeling and formulations services to cannabis and hemp cultivators, edibles manufacturers and both medical and recreational cannabis brands.
EnCann Solutions a Standard Processor applicant filling a vital gap in the cannabis market as an industrial-scale cannabis and hemp extraction company prepared to service the growing needs of the Canadian medical and recreational markets.
